Over 38 years ago, Bruce and Carolyn Robinson ran a small, in-house Embroidery service for the local community in Port Kembla NSW. Our journey began with Bruce & Carolyn’s passion to supply local workers in the Port Kembla BHP Steel (now called BlueScope Steel) with comfortable and durable workwear. Bruce and Carolyn began to not only embroider, but also supplied a small range of Australian manufactured workwear and protective equipment to a rapidly growing Illawarra workforce.

Within a few years, they had officially established what became known as Embroidery, Work and Safety Supplies (EWSS) Alongside the continued employment of local staff and a growing demand for a quality, local uniform supplier, the Robinsons recognised the need to supply uniforms to a range of industries, not just those who worked in BHP.
In 2010, EWSS was changed to Brandworx, to encapsulate the wide range of services that are offered to our customers. Today, Brandworx ships to over 3,000 locations nationwide, embroiders over 100,000 logos per year and is ranked amongst the top 20 uniform suppliers in Australia.
In 2024, Bruce and Carolyn are still highly active within the Brandworx community. Their longstanding reputation and commitment to service has promoted a culture dedicated to innovation, sustainability and above all, excellent customer service. Their daughter Kerrie, now the managing director of Brandworx, continues to ensure that Brandworx remains at the forefront of the uniform industry, whilst staying true to the core values that the Company was founded on.
